Can't access Manufactured Home Database from a File

I wrote up a file (AGL307919 - Perez) using the April, 2013 version of the Commerical/Residential Database, and had <<not>> downloaded the MH Database. I see now that, since the property is "pre-fab" (i. e., "manufactured home"), I should have written it up using the Manufactured Home Database. However, when I open the file and go to "Building Estimate" on the tree, and then --> "Database", the January 2013 version is not listed. I just got a new claim, checked out the Database, and the January 2013 version of the Manufactured Home Database is listed. I really need to make the corrections in the Perez file, but I cannot access the MH Database

    P. S.: I had not downloaded the MH Database when I initially wrote up the Perez file. Does that matter?

Thank you for contacting Simsol Support.  I

f you have already written the claim up in the residential database
(or another database) then you will not be able to switch to the
mobile home database, as they use vastly different pricing and
materials. Unfortunately the claim will need to be re-written using
the appropriate database. You are able to copy photos, scanned docs,
attached docs, and sketches from the claim with the wrong database
over to the claim with the correct database. For example, you can
right click on digital photos and hit "copy to clipboard", then go to
the file with the correct database, right click on digital photos, and
hit "paste from clipboard". You can do this for all the above
    mentioned items.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you,
    Diane Ladd

    Hi Diane,
    Thanks for the input.
In this case, I don't need to go through all this trouble. I just need to modify the ceiling to use MH ceiling panels. I copied those items from another file in which I used the MH Database. I'll just insert them in the 'Custom' file.

    Have a great day!.
