Spoke with Chelsea this morning. I wanted to get reconfirmation if condensing units include refrigerant line sets. Lines sets are usually sold in 35 or 50 LF sections and are quite expensive.
"Reconnection" and "replacement" are two different meanings so we appreciate your clarifying this for us.
We do see some adjusters using the Type K plumbing lines line item, which is used for line sets in the field.

Product spec from Simsol:
"Cost includes replacement of outside condenser unit mounted on pad, reconnection of refrigerant lines and electrical connections, multi speed blower and filter. Add for interior coil replacement if necessary. 13 seer unit".

Thanks!

    John,

I was able to get more information regarding the refrigerant lines. Simsol does not include the installation of new refrigerant lines when replacing the air condenser. As the spec states, only reconnecting the existing lines is included. If the lines are damaged or in need of replacement, you'll do what others have done by adding plumbing K, L, or M lines depending on which are actually being implemented.

    I hope this helps
    John.
