Issue after transferring license to new computer

Good morning. I just transferred my active license to my desktop and I'm unable to utilize the program. Home/New is greyed out and none of my existing claims transferred in. Have I missed a step somewhere? Thanks.

    Good Morning Kim,

    May I ask how you transferred this license? Did you download a full installation of Simsol on your Desktop computer or did you follow the steps provided in our video tutorial here: https://youtu.be/V7hwVVxH9SI

    A little more information on the method you used will help me get you back up and running.

    Hi Chelsea. I’m afraid I am just watching the video now and jumped the gun by downloading the full installation. Is there a way to reverse it? Or correct my error?

    Hi Kim,

    Of course! No worries. To start over, you'll want to first delete the copy of Simsol that you have installed on your Desktop computer. To do this, follow the steps in this video: https://youtu.be/mWY-A-gRATE

    Be sure to clear your recycle bin located on your desktop to be sure Simsol is fully off of that computer.

    Next, simply follow the steps in the video on Transferring your software. This process can take a little bit of time, but it will ensure all claim data/preferences are transferred properly for you.

    Once complete, you'll be able to reset your MySimsol license on the new computer. If you run into any difficulties at all, our team would be happy to assist!
