    Robert,

Thank you for contacting Simsol Support. Our offices are currently closed. However, I will outline several steps you can take to hopefully remedy this issue. To begin with these steps, please ensure that anything Simsol related is closed. If you're a ClaimsWire or Warehouse subscriber, be sure that these utilities are also closed.

1.) Navigate to Start>All Programs>Simsol Products>DBUtils>Delete Lock and Net Utility. Once this opens, make sure that the C:\ drive is selected in the drop-down menu at the top and then press the 'Start' button at the bottom left. The utility will complete once the start button has returned. From this point, click 'Close' to exit the utility.

This will search the system for any Paradox lock or net files that should be removed from memory and may be locking certain program files from being accessed.

2.) Navigate to Start>All Programs>Simsol Products>DBUtils>DBCleanUp. You will be prompted to select the data directory you wish you rebuild simply press 'OK' here. Once the utility opens focus you attention to the bottom middle of this utility. You'll note four radial boxes that begin with 'Fix PRB and PRD Folders'. I'd like you to place a check mark in 'Update All Data' at the bottom and press go. Depending on the amount of data you have within you Simsol directory, this could take a little time.

Once completed. un-check 'Update All Data' and then place a checkmark in the two boxes right above 'Update All Data' that read; 'Validate Drawers and Claims' & 'Arc and Restore Claims DB'. This utility should run much quicker than the update process. Once this completes, close this utility.

3.) From here simply re-open Simsol and see if you receive any more messages

Please let us know if you need any additional assistance with this matter. Our offices will reopen on Monday at 9:00 EST.

    Regards,
    Ron Murray
    Director of Support
